My name is Kari Feldmann. I was hired in February 2013, and am now the bookkeeper and wedding music coordinator. As bookkeeper, I work on payroll, accounts receivable and payable, financial reporting as well as continue to work with parish contributions and electronic giving processing. As the Wedding Music Coordinator, I assist engaged couples in selecting music for their special day and also help with singing and accompanying on the piano.
I enjoy working for the Pastorate as it allows me to help in other ministries, such as funeral liturgies and any of our liturgical events. I have been a member of St. John, Placid my entire life and I am so proud and blessed to be able to work for an amazing organization that values the most important things in life: faith and family.
I have attended Clarke College for music and Northeast Iowa Community College for liberal arts. Working in a financial institution for over six years in the bookkeeping department and as a front line customer service representative, I gained skills and knowledge that I utilize in my current position at St. Elizabeth Pastorate.
My husband, John and I have been married since November 2011 and have one daughter, Aria and one son, Christopher. We were able to move from Luxemburg to Epworth in January 2017 to be closer to these wonderful communities!! We spend a lot of time with family and enjoy spoiling our niece and nephews. We both enjoy traveling and are working on making it to all 50 states!
